Madeline Bragg-Llewellyn, 89, of Drain, Oregon died May 28, 2011 from age related causes.
She was born Dec. 19, 1921 in Holly, Colo. to Elmer and Glendola Bragg, who were long-time residents of Yoncalla.
Madeline graduated from Yoncalla High School.
She married O’dell Craig, who died. She later married Ed Ryan.
She was a homemaker for most of her life.
Madeline resided in 87 places in her full lifetime, spending her last years at an assisted living home in Cottage Grove. She had traveled around the United States and to England and Germany. She was active in her church.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Doris and John Rhodes of Cottage Grove, Janie and Jeff Kemp of Texas, and Judy and Lee Roth of San Jose, Calif., a brother and his wife, Harvey and Holly Bragg of Yoncalla, a sister, Lila Muno of Klamath Falls, 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and innumerable friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her first two husbands, O’dell Craig and Ed Ryan, as well as Louis Llewellyn. She was also preceded in death by her son, Dale Craig who died in 2006, two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Gladys Bragg of Eugene and Dallas and Elva Bragg of Riverside, Calif.
No service is planned.
