Claudia Leone, 79, of Eugene, Oregon passed away June 23, 2014 at her home in Eugene of diabetic complications.
She was born Dec. 13, 1934 in Detroit Lakes, Mich. to Ralph D. Medberry and June M. (Mollberg) Turner.
She married Raymond Zanetta in 1955.
She enjoyed gardening and reading and taught art classes. She painted many oil paintings of flowers, seascapes, covered bridges and more.
She is survived by her children, Denise L. Zanetta of Eugene and Lon J. Zanetta and wife, Leah, of Midlothian, Va., five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Jack Medberry and wife, Shirley Marie, of Cottage Grove, Michael Jr. Turner and wife, Carla, of Eugene, and Shane P. Turner and wife, Nora, of Pacifica, Calif., two sisters, Betty G. Wolfard and Jill P. Barlow, both of Cottage Grove, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Zanetta, and three brothers, Rodney Sauvageau, Alan Medberry, and Richard Medberry.
No services were held. Arrangements under the care of West Lawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, Eugene.
