Robert Clayton Elliott, 87, of Drain, Oregon passed away July 16, 2014 from age related causes.
He was born Sept. 27, 1926 in Detroit, Mich. to Herbert and Hazel (Wendt) Elliott.
In December, 1946 in Detroit, he and Jean Minehart were married.
He earned a Master of Theology degree and was an ordained minister for the Lutheran Church of America. He was a Lutheran Pastor since 1967. He served as a Marine in WWII.
Robert enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a pilot.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Elliott, children, Bonnie Vogt of Edwards, Colo., Bruce Elliott of Cottage Grove and Christine Francalangia of Drain, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jack Elliott, Russ Elliott, Leroy Elliott and Virginia Leoshko.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the care of Andreasonís, Springfield.
