The premiere of the psychological thriller “Something Wicked” took place this past weekend at the Regal Cinemas in Valley River. All of the movie’s scenes were shot in 2009 in Oregon, with many filmed in the Eugene area. None were shot in Cottage Grove; however, the names of three people from Cottage Grove appeared in the closing credits: Stacey Sisk-Overman, Lesley Neufeld and Brad McCormick.

Sisk-Overman, who worked in Cottage Grove as owner of Moonlight Talent Agency, helped in casting for the movie, which has a planned four-state release for the next month.
