About 125 anglers try their luck

The pond off the Row River Trail was one of six Cottage Grove ponds stocked with over 1200 legal-size (eight inches) rainbow trout from the Willamette Hatchery. There were about 125 total participants who signed up for the event.

Richardson said there is a valuable purpose beyond catching fish for the free fishing fun.
