Myrta H. Darnell 1921-2013

Myrta H. Darnell, 91, of Cottage Grove died Oct. 12, 1921 from age related causes.

She was born Oct. 12, 1921 to Mr. and Mrs. William Driver.

She married Norman Darnell in August, 1940 in Ashland, Oregon. He passed away March 6, 2011.

Myrta was a homemaker. She enjoyed writing poetry, stitchery, Bible study and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her children, Edward Darnell of Cottage Grove, Ann Hannah of Santa Rosa, Calif. and Jon Darnell of Napa, Calif., seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Burial will be at Silk Creek Cemetery on March 19, 2013. Arrangements under the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel, Cottage Grove.
