Sandra Christine Smith 1952-2013

 

Sandra “Sandy” Christine Smith, 60, of Cottage Grove died Jan. 22, 2013 from renal failure.

She was born Nov. 11, 1952 in Portland to Francis Charles Potter and Shirley Arlene Dvorak Potter.

Sandy completed a year of college and worked as a notary and document preparer.

She enjoyed growing roses and writing.

Survivors include her partner, Dan Wilson, two sons, Anthony Day and Christopher Day, both of Cottage Grove, four brothers, Ron Potter, Mike Potter and Francis Potter Jr., all of Portland, and Denis Potter of Salem, a sister, Sherrie Potter-Nealeigh of Cottage Grove, and six grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
