Michael "Mike" Blomquist 1966-2013

Michael "Mike" Blomquist, 46, of Cottage Grove died Jan. 29, 2013.

He was born Nov. 5, 1966 in Eugene to E. Phillip and Carole (Spence) Blomquist.

Michael graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1985. He later attended UTI Technical Institute where he earned his certification in heating and air conditioning. Mike worked for Marshall's Heating and Air for 27 years.

On May 20, 1995 in Cottage Grove, he and Missy Graves were married.

Family came first to Mike. He was a devoted father and husband. Mike enjoyed camping, riding four-wheelers, hiking, family vacations, spending time with his wife and children, watching his daughters sporting events and loving on his dogs. He was a member of Riverside Community Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of Cottage Grove, his parents, daughters, Sierra and Mikaela Blomquist of Cottage Grove, his father-in-law, Louie Graves, two brothers, David Blomquist and wife, Michele, of Cottage Grove, and Jim Blomquist of Cottage Grove, brother-in-law, Tony Graves, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral will be Friday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. at Riverside Community Church of God in Cottage Grove with burial following at Fir Grove Cemetery.
