Saturday saturated with wrestlers in CG

If one drives by Lincoln Middle School and Cottage Grove High School on Saturday and sees the parking lots full and overflowing, it’s because a large contingent of schools are coming to wrestle. Lincoln will host 18 middle schools for the district championship matches and CGHS will be using their two gyms to welcome 34 high schools for the annual Cottage Grove Invitational. Spectators can get more than their fill of wrestling for a low price of just $5.

Last week the Lincoln Middle School team finished first in a regional wrestling tournament and qualified a large number of kids for Saturday.
