Robert Alexander Wales 1923-2012

Robert "Bob" Alexander Wales, 89, of Cottage Grove passed away Oct. 3, 2012 from cancer.

He was born April 27, 1923 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Frank and Nada (Pelkey) Wales.

In Vancouver, B.C., he and Shirley Wales were married. He later married Unis Mathis in Santa Rosa, California.

He worked in sales management at Goodyear Corporation.

He was interested in political news, enjoyed his family and gardening and had a love of new friendships.

He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Wales of Cottage Grove and Susan Nolan of Walnut Creek, Calif., one grandson, a great-grandson and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Unis.

Bob's ashes will be scattered in Horseshoe Bay, B.C.
