Donna Lynn Pierce 1965-2010

Donna Lynn Pierce, 44, of Culp Creek died Jan. 14, 2010 of cardiac arrest.

She was born July 22, 1965 in Salem, Ore. to Archie and Garlena (Harris) Pierce.

Donna grew up and attended school in the Keizer/Salem area.

She worked in many different elderly care homes as a care provider. In addition to Keizer, she previously had lived in Springfield, Bend and Eugene.

Her main interest was spending time with her children. She enjoyed beading, going to pow wows, scrapbooking, cooking, socializing, bingo and reading Cosmo. She was affiliated with Native American pow wows in any way she could be of assistance. Most often she was involved with the Siletz pow wow.

She is survived by her partner of nine years, David Perkins, her parents Archie and Garlena Pierce of Keizer, four daughters, Cristy Cromwell of Sweet Home, Donna Mack of Cottage Grove, Lacey Foster and Ashley Foster, both of Culp Creek, two sons, Tony Mack and Robert Mack, both of Sweet Home, two brothers, Kennith Pierce and Allen Pierce, both of Keizer, and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Jan. 18 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cottage Grove. A private cremation was held under the care of Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.
