Ozelle B. Hatcher, 91, of Cottage Grove died Jan. 16, 2010 from complications relating to age.

She was born Jan. 1, 1919 in Boswell, Okla. to Claude Francis and Nettie Belle (Murray) Barnes.

She married Charles W. Simon Sr. He passed away. She later married Cecil Hatcher. He also passed away.

Ozelle was primarily a homemaker. In her youth, she was a waitress. Later, she was a seamstress.

She was a long-time resident of the Cottage Grove area. She enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Charles W. Simon of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Edward Simon and wife, Kay, of Newport, Ore., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands.

No service is planned. A private niche placement will be held at Fir Grove Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
