Henley shows Lions why they are the class of 4A baseball

The Cottage Grove Lions’ postseason came to a quick end on Wednesday in Klamath Falls against the Henley Hornets. No one was happy with the 10-0 defeat, but it was certainly no shame to lose to the Hornets, the defending Oregon 4A state champions.

In their 28 games so far this season, the Hornets have shut out 15 teams with great pitching and won 13 games by the 10-run rule. They are the obvious favorites to repeat as state champions.
