Evelynn Lucille Plueard, 93, of Cottage Grove died April 17, 2013 of age related causes.
She was born April 3, 1920 in Lacomb, Oregon to William Roy and Margie Marie (Clark) Sylvester.
She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1937.
On Aug. 23, 1939 in Vancouver, Wash., she and Lloyd Plueard were married. He died Aug. 17, 1986. Evelynn was a homemaker, a great wife, mother and grandmother.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and of the Cottage Grove Genealogical Society.
Evelynn was very artistic, enjoyed cake decorating, pen and ink drawings, ceramics, her flowers, and made her own clothes. She also enjoyed genealogy and family history.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Leon and Alicia Plueard, Mike and Nana Plueard and Mark and Peggy Plueard, and a sister, all of Cottage Grove, a sister, Arlene Howard of Lebanon, Oregon, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 17, 1986 and by sisters, Rhea and Velma.
On April 28 at 11 a.m., a memorial will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Cottage Grove with a potluck following.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society, Cottage Grove Genealogical Society or to Peace Health Hospice.
