Charles “Chuck” Edward Marshall, 78, of Curtin, Oregon died Dec. 24, 2012 from cancer.
He was born July 17, 1934 in Monticello, Iowa to Charles L. and Gladys Marie (Randolph) Marshall.
Chuck graduated from high school and attended one year of Pre-Med at Drake University.
On Aug. 8, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa, he and Jeanette Lee Lucas were married.
Mr. Marshall was a rental properties investor and handyman laborer.
He loved to travel throughout the United States by automobile and liked camping. He greatly enjoyed turning uninhabitable buildings into homes.
Chuck was a member of Full Gospel Businessmen. He also was a board member for Channels 59 and 38 Christian Television.
He formerly had lived in Des Moines, Iowa and Eugene, Oregon.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Charles Michael Marshall of Dorena and Steven Craig Marshall of Curtin, a stepsister, Marlene Eickhorn of Marion, Iowa, a half-sister, Nancy Hayes of Tallassee, Alabama, and two grandchildren.
A graveside service and burial were held Dec. 28, 2012 at Comstock Cemetery in Curtin.
