Quina Newstrom was born June 5, 1931 in El Paso, Texas. She passed away Jan. 18, 2010 peacefully in her home in La Pine, Oregon.

Quina was a former long-time resident of Cottage Grove.

She is survived by her companion, Richard Werner, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are one brother, her sisters and many extended family and friends whose lives she touched and loved her.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
