Chamber banquet to feature Hawiian theme

A taste of Hawaii will accompany this year’s Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce banquet, to be held this Friday, Jan. 18 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help’s Parish Center.

Café Sheilagh will cater the Hawaiian themed event, which will feature Hawaiian food and locals dressed in grass skirts and outrageous shirts.

As ever, announced at the banquet will be the recipients of yearly awards doled out by the Chamber. Categories and their nominees include: Distinguished Service, an award is given in recognition for outstanding dedication and volunteer service to Cottage Grove that has made a significant community contribution. Nominees are: Frank Brazell, Grant Johnson and Joe Raade.
